Q. What are the advantages of staying with A-partments rather than in a hotel?A: For longer stays there is a cost advantages with staying in corporate apartments. In addition, an apartment provides you more space and privacy than a hotel. Our kitchens provide you an alternative to high prices room service meals or daily restaurant bills. Further more, it's your own apartment during your stay. Just live like we in Amsterdam do!
Q: Do we have to pay taxes on furnished apartments?
A: 6% VAT and a city tax of 5% is applicable.
Q: What is included in the apartment rent?
A: All prices include services, utilities, weekly cleaning, linen and towel service, wireless internet and digital TV. Stays under 7 nights pay 40,00 cleaning costs per apartment.
Q: Is your company gay friendly?
A: We welcome everybody regardless their religion, race, age or sexual preference.
Q: Are pets allowed?
A: No, pets are not allowed.
Q: Is smoking allowed in the apartments?
A: Smoking is NOT allowed in all apartments.
Q: What methods of payment does A-partments accept as a booking deposit?
A: A-partments accepts the following methods of payment: Visa Mastercard AMEX (2,5 surcharge) PayPal Maestro Cash. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept payment by any other form, eg cheque or bank draft.
Q: I'm interested in an apartment I've found on A-partments.com, but I would like some more information. Whom should I contact?
A: If you would like more information regarding a apartment featured on A-partments, please fill out the form at the contact page, or you can send an e-mail. We will respond to your questions as soon as possible. It is also possible to phone us during working hours.
Q: I've made a booking on A-partments.com and I paid a down payment. When is the balance payable?
A: In general, the balance is payable upon your arrival at the apartment. It is payable by credit card, and Maestro but we prefer cash.
Q: Why do I have to pay a security deposit?
A: For security reasons we ask for a deposit. Upon arrival we ask the following security deposit: Rent up to 1000,00: 500,00 deposit Rent 1001,00 - 2000,00: 750,00 deposit Rent (over) 2000,00: 1000,00 deposit This deposit is authorized and is put as a hold on your credit card. Your card will NOT be charged. At check-out we will release the hold on your credit card. If you do not possess a credit card we will ask a cash deposit. If you paid the deposit by cash, you will receive the deposit by check-out.
Q: What are the check-in and check-out times?
A: Check-in time: 15:00 hours Check-out time: 11:00 hours The personal check-in will be done by one of our employees IN THE APARTMENT!!.
Q: Where and when do I receive my keys?
A: You will get the keys during the check-in. Please make sure you contact us when arriving in Amsterdam airport or when coming close to the city.Important: If you require an early check-in (before 09:00) or a late check-in (after 19:00) there is a surcharge of 35,- to be paid in cash upon arrival. If you like to stay in the apartment till after 11:00 on the day of departure, we will charge 62,50 in cash. Then check-out time is extended till 16:00. (We cannot guarantee late check-out, this is based upon availability)
Q: I've made a booking on A-partments, but I now wish to cancel. Will my deposit be returned to me?

Q: I own a apartment in Amsterdam and would like to have more information about rental possibilities.. Whom should I contact?
